Year 10 have been enjoying a fun-filled week of activities for Expeditions Week.

Speedboat Trip to the Tower of the London

On Wednesday, the girls donned red life jackets for a speedboat trip down the River Thames! They pulled in and docked, ready for a look around the Tower of London. Thank you to our incredible staff, including Head of Classics Mr Hayes, for their bespoke audio guide for the trip. The recording of 10 tracks by FH staff really enhanced the experience for girls making it an afternoon of discovery and genuine interest rather than a wander round! Listen to the audio guide below…

Go Ape

The girls headed to Battersea Park to climb the high ropes at Go Ape!

Steel Pan Workshop

A specialist steel drum musician visited Year 10 to teach a workshop. The sounds of the Caribbean were radiating throughout the school.

Graffiti Workshop with HVH ARTS

On Tuesday, Year 10 took part in a Graffiti Workshop with HVH ARTS. The girls were given a blank canvas to create their own designs and they certainly didn’t let the rain get in the way of their creativity!

Water Sports at Surrey Docks

Year 10 have been enjoying Water Sports days at Surrey Docks. Girls have learnt how to sail, paddle board and kayak, whilst enjoying some friendly competition in ‘Water Basketball’.
