Our Year 11 students embarked on trips to Ebury Square in their Biology lessons this week to complete their Ecology practicals. Through hands-on activities like quadrat sampling and transect analysis, they honed their skills in estimating population sizes and comparing organism distribution across varying light conditions. The trip provided invaluable experiential learning opportunities, enhancing our students’ understanding of ecological concepts beyond the classroom.
