Francis Holland’s Junior School at Sloane Square relocated to the site of The Hampshire School to become a two form entry Prep school for girls aged 4-11. The main entry point to the Prep School is at 4+ for Reception but as we are doubling our dedicated space there will be a small number of places available in Years 1-6 for September 2025. Planning for small class sizes of 20 will enable us to maintain the level of individual attention for each child and the nurturing and friendly environment for which Francis Holland is renowned.

4+ Admissions (Reception)

For 4+ entry, we suggest that when your daughter is approaching two years of age, you book a place at one of our Open Mornings where you will have the opportunity to meet the Head, staff and current pupils as well as enjoy a tour of the School.

Our next Open Morning takes place on Tuesday 23rd September 2025 and can be booked via the ‘Open Events’ button below.

Registrations for entry in September 2026 are now open.

Please note the following key dates for September 2026 entry:

• 4+ assessments will take place between 6th and 16th January 2026
• Offers will be made by close of play on Monday 19th January 2025
• Acceptance deadline is 12 noon on Monday 2nd February 2026

Registration is open for years up until 2028/29.

Once registered, you will be contacted by the School in the November preceding your daughter’s proposed year of entry, to invite her to attend an assessment in January. Shortly after your daughter has been assessed, we will be in a position to advise you whether we are able to offer her a place for September.

Occasional Place Admissions (Years 1-6)
