Sport at Francis Holland plays an important part in the life of our school; inspiring, challenging and supporting the potential of our athletes. Our overriding aim is for children to develop skills throughout their time in the Junior School and fondly remember positive experiences which will lead to a life-long love of sport.

We have a netball court and indoor gym available for onsite lessons. We use offsite facilities in Battersea Park for netball, football and athletics lessons for Years 3 – 6, and Queen Mother’s Sport Centre in Victoria for swimming lessons.

Our curriculum covers the following:

We offer a range of inclusive co-curricular sport, and work closely with external coaches in gymnastics, table tennis and tennis to supplement our competitive sport programme against local schools.

Parents are invited to spectate regularly at matches and join us in celebrating our achievements at our annual gymnastics display, open swim sessions, parent fun runs and Sports Day in Battersea Park.
