On the evening of Wednesday 10th October, we held our annual Open Evening.

We welcomed over 560 people to the evening, which included a number of talks from the Headmistress Mrs Elphinstone and a chance to take a look at everything the school has to offer. Each department put on exciting displays and activities, whilst girls from all years were on hand to share their enthusiasm for their favourite things about FHS.
Girls provided tours around the whole school, allowing guests to experience a vast array of subjects and co-curricular clubs available, from Science experiments to Animal Club; a rowing challenge to mastering origami; guessing the origin of foods from around the world to watching drama rehearsals. Down in the Dining Hall a colourful display of refreshments were available, with a delicious ‘Hydration Station’ too.
It was a fantastic evening showcasing some of the many talents of our girls and highlighting what makes our school so wonderful.
