On the morning of Friday 22nd March, the FHS community gathered in the stunning surrounds of Holy Trinity Church, Sloane Street, for a magical Easter Service.

Led by our Chaplain, Revd. van der Hart, the Service began with an uplifting performance of All Things Bright and Beautiful by our Chapel Choir, followed by poignant readings of Who is this man, Jesus? by our Year 11 and 12 Drama Scholars. Our Lower School Choir performed The Call by Vaughan Williams, following by a reading of John 4:7-12 by our incoming Head Girl, Eva. The Service continued with a fabulously theatrical reading by our Year 8 Drama Scholars, beautifully delivered prayers by members of our incumbent Head Girls’ Team, and an atmospheric telling of the Easter story by Revd. van der Hart.

We then enjoyed a stunning vocal solo of John Rutter’s The Lord Bless You and Keep You by Cate in Year 10, a sensational performance of Vaughan Williams’ Antiphon by a massed choir of staff, parents and pupils and, of course, a selection of favourite hymns, sung with gusto by the whole congregation. A wonderful way to end another busy, happy term at FHS, and Mrs Haydon’s first as Head. Wishing a lovely Easter break to our whole FHS community!
