On Friday 19^th April we were proud to welcome our guest, Mr George Fiawoo, to run an African Dance and Drumming Workshop.

Mr Fiawoo is originally from Ghana and is a well-known performer and drummer within his London community. He is especially well known for captivating audiences with magical drumming rhythms and interactive storytelling. Mr Fiawoo has been running African dance and drumming classes across London for over 40 years. Girls in Years 3 – 6 learnt about the cultures of West Africa through music, drumming, dance, and song. Teachers and students alike thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and all went away singing and dancing. It was truly a memorable experience and we all now feel prepared going into our Lion King production rehearsals.
