This week, the Year 7s and Year 8s had their first Big Sister event of the year, the Big Sister Breakfast. But what is the Big Sister Breakfast?, and why do only Year 7s and 8s have it?

As Year 8s we have the duty to take care of the new Year 7s as their big sisters, and the breakfast is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and if the Year 7s, little sisters, have any questions, as an experienced Year 8, big sister, we can help them. Having a big sister also helps the Year 7s to have more support from a peer and we can help to settle them into their new school.
