Our aim is to provide girls the experience of working independently; facilitating the realisation of a good idea from thought to a working, successful project, all whilst giving back to the community around them.

This doesn’t just benefit those who want to go into business or enterprise. This is a chance for students to test their unique skills on a more formal platform, learning transferable skills that will prove invaluable in later life.

All Senior School pupils will be given the opportunity to submit an idea, individually or in groups. Proposals selected by Mrs Elphinstone will then have the chance to pitch their social enterprise to a Dragon’s Den-style panel, featuring an exciting guest, with the successful applicant being offered a sum of money to achieve their project.

We aim to raise money via this section of the fund to offer the girls a unique opportunity to bid for support with their entrepreneurial ideas. So far we have raised £750 for this initiative.
