The dining room was a whirlwind of ribbons, wrapping paper and presents as 25 Year 7 girls (and several parents) stayed after school and wrapped presents kindly donated to the KLS Love to Learn Homework Club.

KLS works with many vulnerable children, including recently arrived refugees, many who are unaccompanied, to ensure that they can access education and other services, as well as supporting them with social activities too. These gifts (over 100!) will be a wonderful addition to their Christmas Party on Wednesday 8th December.  As well as the kindly donated gifts, we were also able to provide 49 phone credit cards to these young people, which will mean many will now be able to communicate with family abroad over the Christmas break.

We are so grateful for the organisational nous of Year 7 parents Raj Funnell and David Sweeney and their helpers for putting together another wonderful initiative.
