On Wednesday 31st January, Year 7 participated in the historic Morison Verse Competition! We started with the incredible winners for the Junior School competition this week: they impressed everyone with their articulation and delivery. Next up, Georgia from Year 8 performed her winning poem from 2023: ‘Harriet Tubman’ by Eloise Greenfield. At long last, it was the turn of the finalists from Year 7. They had been selected from smaller heats in their usual English classes and were absolutely fantastic. It was very difficult for the judges (Mrs Lorimer, Ms Hanton and Mr Ellen) to pick the winners but finally the results were revealed. A big well done to:
