As part of their sustainability topic in geography, Year 4 have been learning all about deforestation.

This week the girls debated: should deforestation be banned? The girls were asked to take on the role of many different stakeholders including loggers, pharmacists, conservationists, government officials and cattle farmers. A collaborative, inquisitive and respectful debate ensued. At the end of the lesson, the girls discussed their thoughts on how deforestation could be managed more effectively.
