Year 5 enjoyed finding out more about the stars in STEAM this week.

To complement their science work on Earth and Space, the girls researched some of the ancient tales behind well-known constellations, such as Orion, before making models of their favourite groups of stars using marshmallows and cocktail sticks. They discovered many interesting facts about the stars in our solar system and, of course, enjoyed a marshmallow or two along the way.
