This week we have celebrated World Book Week by creating a virtual platform of activities for all to enjoy.

The girls could have started their days by taking a trip to the FHS remote library and listening to a chapter from ‘The Voyage of the Sparrowhawk’ audiobook or even by watching one of their teachers read them a story. The afternoons were filled with a vast number of interactive activities with something for everyone from dinosaur spotting to poetry and even a bit of baking!

As well as this, each year group attended a Perform workshop where their imaginations were sparked as they brought a book to life. The week ended with our class tea parties where we all got to raise a mug to World Book Day and show off our fantastic costumes. Thank you to all who made our remote World Book Week so special.
