We were thrilled to welcome parents to the Senior Hall this week for our legendary annual Gym and Dance Display. Our audience were treated to a range of amazing performances of the theme  ‘Life is a Journey’.

Our Senior dancers and gymnasts performed a dynamic yet poignant repertoire of routines, treating the audience to a beautiful display of life’s milestones through movement. From the tenderness of the ‘Childhood’ section, with our ballerinas replicating a childhood dance lesson, to the touching ‘Growing Old’ pieces which wistfully reflected on reaching one’s later years, every single routine truly showcased the breadth of dance and gymnastic talent we have at FHS and the girls’ mature approach to complex subjects. Sofia in Year 13’s exquisite dance solo, which moved many of the audience to tears, deserves a special mention.

Congratulations to all our performers on an outstanding array of gymnastics and dance. We are already looking forward to next year’s show!
