On Tuesday and Thursday morning, our Year 7s and their Year 8 big sisters enjoyed getting to know each other and chatting about life at FHS over breakfast in the Dining Hall.

Amaya in Year 8 said, “On Tuesday morning it was our Big Sister Breakfast. We had a delicious breakfast of warm pancakes, crispy bacon, sweet maple syrup and of course some healthy fruit skewers. Last year, when I had my Big Sister Breakfast I thought it was a great way to get to know each other better and it made me feel comfortable to talk to them if I was feeling worried or if I forgot where a classroom was, or just need a friendly face to talk to in the corridor. This morning we had nice conversations with our little sisters and we discovered new things about each other. I think all the big sisters are looking forward to the next meetup with our little sisters again.”

This is the first of many fun events to look forward to in our Big Sister Programme, a key component of our Lower School Pastoral Care.
