Over the Christmas holidays, Year 7 were asked to complete a habitat project for their Biology lessons. Students could pick any habitat of their choice and recreate it inside a shoebox, which they then displayed to their peers. We had an amazing range of eco-habitats on show, from deserts to arctic regions, to lush, leafy forest scenes. The girls showcased their innovation and creativity with habitats featuring igloos crafted from marshmallows, snakes created from strawberry shoelaces, clay figurines and origami animals. Some girls even drew inspiration from outdoor environments by including real plants, rocks, water, soil and sand. Well done Year 7!
