Year 4 were very excited to welcome Emma Shevah, author of this term’s class text, ‘How to Save the World with a Chicken and an Egg’, to their classroom on Thursday. Ms Shevah explained the inspiration behind her different books, spoke about her love for our planet and shared how she finds ideas for stories all around her. The girls also learnt more about some of the amazing animals featured in her book. Did you know that cows like to play hide and seek, or that macaws have a different voice for every family member? All of the girls felt inspired, with many saying that they too would like to become authors, and cannot wait to continue reading more about the adventures of Ivy and Nathaniel.
