During the Summer Holidays, we will be packing our bags and heading to Malawi to help support Ripple Africa. Whilst we are there, we will be volunteering at Matate 1 pre-school which is the school FHJS has been fundraising for this academic year. We will be working alongside the brilliant teachers at the pre-school and will have the chance to see the impact that our Francis Holland Junior School fundraising is having. This is a proud moment for us as a school as it is the first time we have gone out to visit one of our international charities. We feel very privileged and are very excited to have such an incredible opportunity!

To raise money for the trip, we will be taking part in a sponsored ‘Half Marathon Midnight March’ throughout the night on Friday 9th June. We will start our walk at midnight and hope to be finished by 4am. Our fundraising target is £5,000 which will help go towards our flights, travel, and volunteering costs. Many thanks for your continued support!
