On Tuesday 8th June, the Upper Sixth enjoyed their highly-anticipated Leavers’ Dinner.

It was a night filled with dancing, music, pictures, videos and laughter, but most importantly everyone was surrounded by their friends and teachers. We started off the evening with drinks and canapés in the playground before taking a whole year picture for the last time! After taking our seats, Rosie and Isabella made a final speech, sharing memories from the past seven years, as well as thanking all of the teachers who have taught us over the years.

Joint Heads of Sixth Form, Mrs Banks and Mrs Wilkes made a speech about the year group, mentioning everyone and the individual qualities they bring to our community. We would like to thank all of the catering staff for all that they have done during our school years, we have all enjoyed the food so much and everything they do is so kind. We then had some beautiful opera singing from Hinnd and Mrs Elphinstone reflected on what a special year group we are and how we’ve impacted life at the school. We then had our dessert while a montage video of our whole year played, filled with funny clips and messages from the teachers. To round up the evening, we enjoyed dancing to some throwback hits, including ABBA. Thank you to everyone who helped the Head Girl Team to set up that evening and special thanks to Ms Stevens and Philippe who we couldn’t have done it without!
