Our busy week of sports began on Saturday, when our Francis Holland Race Team took part in the Westminster Mile schools event.  17 girls and 10 parents took to The Mall to complete the course. Congratulations to Alexia in Year 4 who registered the third fastest time overall for girls in the children’s waves.

At our other weekend fixture, our A team Netballers attended the inaugural Norland Place tournament with Miss Hamilton who was thrilled with the progress the girls made throughout the morning.  Well done to Remi in Year 6 who was nominated as most influential player. We enjoyed a re-match with Norland on Monday with our Netball A and B teams travelling to Avondale Park. Our shooters were dominant in the circle and are enjoying much more success in the attacking third.

To boost our shooting scores, we will be using our Sports Captains challenge times on Monday breaktimes to focus on our consistent shooting. Our KS2 girls helped to demonstrate this week for the younger year groups and will be moving up to the appropriate height in the coming weeks as a quick additional practice. 23 girls took part this week to earn points for their house.
