On Friday 1st November we hosted the annual Coram Beanstalk BookFest.

We welcomed over 650 children from 24 London primary schools to take part in a special book festival aimed at encouraging more children to read. During the day pupils had the opportunity to meet some of their favourite authors and illustrators, such as Rob Biddulph, Onajli Rauf and Samantha Baines. In addition The Really Big Pants Theatre Company entertained the children with a performance of their hit show Suddenly!

Thank you to the London Book Project for generously donating a book for each child to take home. It was a wonderful day and we were so pleased to host an event that offers children inspiring and interactive book-based workshops, with the aim of encouraging a love of books and reading.
