This week, FHS has been remembering the late Queen Elizabeth II.

On Friday, the Senior School gathered for a Service of Prayer and Reflection. Reverend Lucinda van der Hart, the School’s new Chaplain who will be joining us officially later on the in the academic year, led the Service with Mrs Elphinstone. She particularly reflected on the Queen as a woman in a leadership role and the selflessness of the life she led. The School and Staff Choirs filled St Mary’s with beautiful music and readings from pupils were listened to.

This time for thought, reflection and mourning united the School as we look ahead to Monday when the Queen’s funeral will take place.
