This week, the Politics A Level students went on a trip to Brussels, in Belgium. We visited some of the key political buildings such as the European Parliament and the European Commission and learned about political systems around Europe, which helped us to further understand our global politics module. In addition to buying lots (maybe too much) of chocolate and waffles, we enjoyed visiting the Parlamentarium and the Museum of European history. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the trip and came back with a stronger knowledge of the EU, even if the UK isn’t a part of it anymore. It was a very enriching and fun experience, and we are really excited to share the knowledge that we gained during this trip.
