This year’s A Level Fine Art and Photography Show took place on Monday 1st June and showcased the very best of FHS Art.
The 2019 Fine Art and Photography Show took place at the beginning of the final week of the academic year, and was a wonderful and creative way to end the Summer term. Many of the current Year 13 students had already travelled to foreign lands in search of much needed rest and rejuvenation but the show was still buzzing with parents, pupils and staff.
The show is an opportunity to display each pupils work in its own space and hopefully making it a special exhibition of their individual creative skills and examples of risk taking. Some pupils chose a ‘classical ‘ route for their personal investigations using oil paint and portraiture. Others chose to create imaginative multi-media pieces or large installations. The Photography was inspiring and showed a wide range of two and three dimensional responses by the pupils.
