What a fantastically festive and magical evening was had by all who attended what I’m sure will become an annual celebration at Chelsea Barracks on Thursday 30th November.

As promised, there were elves and Carol singers, indulgent hot chocolates with all the added extras, and delicious mince pies, donuts and chestnuts. Even Santa was there in his sleigh!

I am proud to say that Francis Holland did especially well this year with two winners! Ella won the Year 5 category. Celina in Year 6 was crowned the winner of them all and had the grand honour of switching on the lights of the tree that carried her imaginative design of a star wearing a Santa hat! Click here to watch the moment Celina turned the lights on!

A big thank you to all the children who submitted a design and, of course, to Meg, the Fairy Queen, for inviting us to take part in such a special competition and event.
