The Infant Concert was a gloriously noisy and colourful celebration of music!
Year 2 have been learning the violin and ‘cello in class music lessons this year, as part of our instrumental initiative scheme, and impressed us with their technically assured and enthusiastic performances. Year 1 and Reception performed a variety of percussion arrangements featuring samba drums, xylophones, boomwhackers and, of course, multi-coloured pom poms!
The concert ended with a moving rendition, by the massed choir of Lin Marsh’s ‘Believe’ and a show-stopping performance of ‘Little People’ from ‘Les Miserables’. We’re certainly very proud of our ‘littlest people’ at FHS. They performed with energy and commitment and infectious joy!
