The final Art and Photography show of this academic year was on Wednesday evening and was attended by many pupils, parents and staff.

The show is an opportunity to display each pupils work in its own space and hopefully making it a special exhibition of their individual creative skills and examples of risk taking. Some pupils chose a ‘classical ‘ route for their personal investigations using oil paint and portraiture. Others chose to create imaginative multi-media pieces or large installations. The Photography was inspiring and showed a wide range of two and three dimensional responses by the pupils.

Two of the Fine Art students are off to America, one to Parsons in New York to study Liberal Arts and one to the Chapman University in Los Angeles to study film production. One Photography student is continuing with her studies on a degree course in History of Art.
I would like to congratulate the year 13 artists and photographers for their hard work over the last year and I wish them all the success in the future.
