Our annual Fanny Davies Music Festival, named after Fanny Davies who taught piano at FHS in the 1880s, is one of our longest held school traditions which offers pupils from Year 7 to 13 the opportunity to showcase their breath-taking musical talents for an audience of friends, staff and judges. This year’s special guest judge was Jennifer Sterling, who has had an illustrious musical career as a soprano, choral conductor and teacher and is now Associate Choral Director at St Martin-in-the-Fields.
The festival saw a spectacular range of performances including outstanding individual vocal, strings, percussion, brass and woodwind performances, as well as vibrant Junior and Senior Pop and Jazz and Ensemble performances.
