On Tuesday 18th April we once again collected much needed foodstuffs for the Hammersmith and Fulham Foodbank.

Spring is traditionally a much harder time for food banks, as donations tend to drop off. As we loaded the van with another bumper collection from FHS, Steve from the foodbank told us that donations were down almost 20% on earlier in the year. It was heartening to see that even on the second day back after a long holiday that the FHS community donated so thoughtfully. In fact, my pleas for tinned fish, hot chocolate and shower gel were certainly met! Good luck trying to find any Tuna in West London today… As always, we are grateful to the wonderful efforts of parents Jo Hamlyn and Akiko Bianchi in leading this initiative.
