Year 4 were simply breathtaking in their drama showcase performances last night. They dazzled us throughout with the poems ‘There are Big Waves’ by Eleanor Farjeon, ‘Daddy Fell into the Pond’ by Alfred Noyes, and ‘The Tyger’ by William Blake, with a surprise class ensemble final poem ‘Phenomenal Woman’ by Maya Angelou. Not only did they give us four unique interpretive poetry performances, but they were professional and kept us all engaged throughout. We were amazed by their creativity, and all left with a new perspective and appreciation for poetry thanks to the girls. They truly are PHENOMENAL women!
