On Thursday 4th May, Year 3 took us to ‘Poetry Land’ for their Class Assembly. This rhyming spectacular taught the audience all about features of poetry, including onomatopoeia and alliteration. In groups, the girls performed poems that they had written themselves, and even challenged their parents to recite the well-known tongue twister, Betty Botter… not as easy as you might think! A huge well done to all of Year 3 for performing with such confidence and enthusiasm.
