On Tuesday of this week, we were joined by Alison from Happy Centred Schools who came to deliver well-being workshops designed to give pupils the tools to develop greater emotional intelligence, happiness, confidence and self-belief.

Year 3 took part in ‘Your Amazing Brain’; this workshop helped them to understand fixed and growth mindsets and challenge any ‘wonky’ thoughts. Year 4 and 5’s workshop was ‘Flip It: Keep Calm and Carry On’ and the girls learned all about tackling change, building resilience and how to feel more positive about life’s challenges. To end the day, Year 6 took part in ‘Creative Conversations’. The aim of this workshop was to improve the girls’ speaking and listening skills so that they are able to confidently get up in front of others and demonstrate how brilliant they are!

All of the sessions were lively and engaging; the girls learned a great deal and had a lot of fun in the process!
