On Monday 22nd March, Year 1 went on a virtual school trip to RHS Wisley to learn more about plants. Expert horticulturalist, Barney joined us in the classroom via Zoom to teach us all about the different parts of a flowering plant.

He put the girls’ knowledge of fruits to the test and taught us more about the important role that bees play in helping to pollinate plants. To complete our workshop, we were treated to a tour of the teaching garden so that we could admire all the fabulous plants, including colourful daffodils, primroses and anemones, from afar. We hope that it won’t be too long before we can get out and explore these wonderful gardens in person.
