This week we welcomed Océane Bittard. She studied at the London College of Fashion, which is one of the best universities in the world for Fashion, with a BA in Bespoke Tailoring. A year after graduation she worked in Savile Row amongst the most competitive businesses in tailoring and fashion. She taught us about the history of tailoring and how the artistic elements of suits throughout history has shaped what is defined as ‘masculine’ and how bespoke tailoring can challenge social and political norms. Her talk was very engaging and everyone was very thankful to have her take the time to come to FHS and speak to us!
