On Tuesday, Reception became ‘Jolly Posties’ for the day when they visited The Postal Museum.

First, we visited the play area which was sack loads of fun! We visited a charming mini town complete with post offices, letter boxes, soft play and even a sorting area. After lunch, and a walk around the museum, we had a fun-filled workshop on the theme of The Jolly Postman in which the girls learnt how post is collected, sorted and delivered. The highlight of the trip was the mail rail where we journeyed back in time through the original tunnels of London’s postal railway. We were all entranced by the experience and the girls did us proud.
