Pepper is our little black and white chick. He is 10 days old. Darya really wanted to show him to Year 4 before he was an adult, and when she asked her mummy, Soraya and our brother also wanted to show him to their classes!
So, on Wednesday 24th May, our mummy came into school with Pepper! In Year 4, Darya and mummy took Pepper around the rows so that each of the girls could stroke/feel Pepper. It took a little while, but everyone loved it!
Pepper then came to Year 5’s library lesson. Lots of the class asked questions and mummy helped us answer the ones we didn’t know. Soraya explained why the chick was named Pepper – it is because he is black with some small white dots on his head and tummy.
We hope that Year 4 and Year 5 enjoyed meeting him!
