Last Saturday brought a very special and memorable occasion for 11 of our FHS senior school pupils, as they were confirmed at St Paul’s Cathedral. The Bishop of Kensington, Emma Ineson, led the service and preached beautifully. Ninety-two adults were baptised and/or confirmed in total, in a Cathedral packed with their families, friends and supporters.

The girls who were Confirmed have been attending Confirmation classes with me on Thursday lunchtimes since the start of the Summer term. We have had many fascinating and thought-provoking discussions as we have explored together the core tenets of the Christian faith. In the Summer term I will begin Confirmation classes again, in readiness for another Confirmation service in November 2024.
