In October 2013, FHS raised a considerable sum to buy 65,000 daffodil bulbs – which our girls planted – for the Royal Parks Foundation. Every year the daffodils bring such joy and some lovely gardening memories.

The fundraising efforts for the daffodils included cake sales, a sponsored run and a sponsored ‘Daffodil Walk’ around the Serpentine. It was a wonderful opportunity to give something back to the city and teach our pupils about the wonders of nature.
