On Monday 28th November, we welcomed Dame Antoinette Sibley, prima ballerina for many years of the Royal Ballet, Sir Peter Wright and Clement Crisp to a performance in Dame Antoinette’s honour and to the naming of the ballet studio after her.

It was a wonderful evening which included a performance by dancers from the Central School of Ballet and a version of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ by our own ballet students, with Emma Cantone playing Titania in the same dress worn by Dame Antoinette in ‘Le Baiser de la Fee’. The girls even got the chance to dance with Dame Antoinette herself.

Many thanks to all our guests and to Mrs Hitchen for putting together such a wonderful evening.
