On Thursday 8th May, our Class of 2025 gathered to celebrate their time at FHS and look ahead to the future with excitement and optimism.

Sporting a stunning rainbow selection of dresses, the girls came together in the playground for a drinks reception with their teachers, before making their way to a beautifully decorated Senior Hall. Our Head Girl, Eva, and Deputy Head Girl, Ophelia, gave a simultaneously witty and moving welcome, before Mrs Haydon addressed the girls, thanking them for their remarkable individual and collective contributions to FHS life and praising the empathetic, confident, creative and kind young women they have grown into. Staff and pupils also enjoyed observing a slideshow of photos through the years and perusing their Class of 2025 Yearbooks!

Our guests enjoyed a delicious Asian and Lebanese style buffet supper produced by our wonderful catering team. This was followed by a fantastic speech by Ms Stansfield, Mrs Wilkes and Miss Hunt reminiscing fondly about the girls’ time in the Sixth Form (including some hilarious anecdotes) and offering gems of wisdom to help them make the most of their next chapter, whether they are going on a gap year, embarking on a degree internship or are off to university in the UK or abroad. After enjoying a selection of delicious puddings and fresh fruit, girls and staff were entertained by a special guest performance of ‘Wonderwall’ by the one and only Dr Upcott and Mr Trussell!

What a night! Thank you so much to our Sixth Form team, our Facilities, Operations and Catering Teams and everybody else who helped make the evening such a special celebration of our Class of 2025. We are so proud of the girls and we wish them the very best of luck in their upcoming exams. We look forward to welcoming them back as members of our Old Girls community and hearing all about their next adventures.
