On Tuesday evening, the whole of the Sixth Form gathered together in the dining hall to forge and strengthen connections between the two years. We had our two favourite dishes made by the wonderful kitchen staff: pesto and mozzarella gnocchi bake and chicken katsu curry, followed by the school’s famous brownies.

Everyone was seated so that students who study similar subjects were sat together. The LVI came with subject-specific questions and queries for their UVI peers, and the dining hall was filled with chatter and laughter. The atmosphere of the Old School House was transformed overnight as new friendships and inter-year bonds were formed.

We would like to say a huge thank you to the all of the catering team for making such delicious food, and to Miss Stevens, the events team and the Heads of Sixth Form for facilitating the evening.
