On Tuesday 29^th January, our Year 9 girls participated in a Philosophy Afternoon run by Miss Crawley.

We welcomed three speakers from the Philosophy Foundation who provided an afternoon of ‘brain teasing’, asking pupils to reflect upon important ethical questions such as ‘What makes humans different from animals?’. It was a fun and vibrant afternoon full of intriguing discussion and debate, with pupils grappling topics such as the nature of philosophy and a hypothetical dispute between Plato and Diogenes.
