In their wellbeing session this week, the Y7 and 8 pupils had a fascinating talk from Chloe Combi; an author, researcher, consultant and speaker who has a passionate interest in educating young people in the ever-increasing commodification of beauty (amongst many other things). She talked to the pupils about beauty and body image, including the impact of social media, filter culture and tech-dysmorphia.  The pupils were extremely engaged, animated and inquisitive throughout the session and asked many insightful questions.  They will all shortly be receiving a booklet from Chloe as a follow-up and we hope to have her back to do more work with our pupils.
