On Monday 13th October, our enthusiastic Year 7 and 8 Scholars visited Francis Holland Regent’s Park for the launch of the Scholars’ Project (FHSP). Over lunch, students from both schools connected through a series of thoughtful questions designed to spark curiosity and collaboration—discussing their interests, co-curricular passions, and current reading. The session introduced the aims of the FHSP, which encourages independent learning and research beyond the curriculum. Scholars will work with mentors from the LVI and go on to explore topics of personal interest, culminating in a research essay, an artefact, and a presentation in the summer term. This inspiring visit marked the beginning of an exciting academic journey, and we look forward to the scholars from FHRP returning to Sloane Square so our scholars can share their intellectual and creative findings.
