On Tuesday 6th February, Year 5 wrapped up warm and set off to the banks of the River Thames on their ‘Thames Explorer’ trip.

They enjoyed a morning of mud larking, learning about the history of the Thames and how industry and tourism affects our local environment. This has fed in to their topic on ‘Saving our oceans’ and looking after the environment. The girls returned with items they had collected from the river, including coloured glass and century old pieces of stone.
