On Tuesday, Year 3 ventured to North East London to explore the William Morris Gallery in Walthamstow. The visit linked closely to the work that the girls have been doing in Art with Ms Van Kamp, and they delighted in sharing their knowledge with the workshop leaders. We toured the gallery and studied Morris’ designs, but the real highlight was creating our own prints. The girls, like Morris, took inspiration from nature and created some beautiful designs.
