On Thursday, a team of four Year 10 students travelled to Elizabeth Garrett Anderson school in Islington to take part in the Maths Feast, an annual mathematics competition run by the Advanced Maths Support network. We participated in four timed rounds of increasing difficulty that tested our lateral thinking, spatial awareness and problem-solving skills. Our favourite round was the relays. Although we were facing very tough competition, we managed to come 4th out of over 20 schools. We thoroughly enjoyed this enriching opportunity to utilise curriculum maths in such a fun, competitive setting.
Thank you to Mrs Ramage for organising the trip!
