On Wednesday 26th May, we celebrated our Senior School Sports Day in Battersea Park.

It was such a joy to be together for the event this year, and the day was a true reflection of FHS spirit and community. Girls competed in a variety of field and track events, whilst also taking part in the House netball and football tournaments. We were all absorbed by the energy of the occasion, with some of the staff becoming as competitive as the girls!

Congratulations to the winning House, Woolf, and to all three Houses who were not far behind on the leaderboard! Many girls had success in their heats across all of the events, but a particular mention must go to Lina Colas (Year 10) who in her last Sports Day for the Senior School smashed two school records in the 800m and 1500m after a morning full of sport. Winners for the field events will be announced in due course and ribbons will be awarded after half term.

We do hope you were able to watch some of the day via our ‘live stream’.Ā Thank you to Sports Ambassador, Katie Castillo-Bernaus, for capturing the day on our Sport Department Instagram @fhssloanesquare_sport!
