Last Friday, Mira in Year 3 came to show me her Remembrance Day poem. It was a remarkably moving piece of writing and earnt her a Head’s gold sticker (worth ten house points). Mira went to visit Mrs Elphinstone in her study to read the poem to her, and Mrs Elphinstone felt you would all enjoy this poem. There were so many magnificent Remembrance poems written by girls in many year groups. Well done Mira for capturing the essence of Remembrance Day so beautifully.
